About Us

Autonomy is an 11-year-old Egyptian Limited Liability Company, established in April 2013. It has a shareholder structure consisting of Egyptian and Lebanese individuals and operates under the General Authority for Investment (GAFI). Autonomy's mandate is to provide training, consultancy, and project management services aimed at developing and empowering small and medium businesses, social enterprises, and the capacity of non-governmental organizations. Additionally, it focuses on developing leaders and adding value to them, with the goal of multiplying value to others. Autonomy operates autonomously, emphasizing a sense of togetherness in its work.

Our Team

Carol Melki

Carol has accumulated over 20 years of experience as a leader, trainer, and manager specializing in child development, education, and women's empowerment. Her responsibilities encompass training program facilitators for children and women, designing childhood development programs and facilities, and overseeing children and family support programs. Throughout her career, she has successfully led teams and executed programs in education, music development, and trauma healing for children and women across the Middle East. Carol possesses a diverse skill set including training, team leadership, project management, networking, songwriting, and artistic abilities. Additionally, she generously volunteers her time as a coach and mentor for community leaders dedicated to supporting women and children. Carol holds certifications from the John Maxwell Team as a leadership speaker, trainer, and coach, and from the Trauma Healing Institute as a training facilitator for Classic Trauma Healing and as an apprentice facilitator for Story Based Trauma Healing.

Ayman Ramsis

Ayman boasts over twenty years of experience as a humanitarian leader and manager. His expertise encompasses community and organizational development, spearheading humanitarian initiatives, and fortifying civil society groups. With a diverse background in various international NGOs across multiple countries, Ayman has undergone substantial personal and professional growth. He has overseen teams and executed programs in areas such as social entrepreneurship, livelihoods, health, education, and human rights. Ayman possesses a robust skill set encompassing people management, project coordination, networking, and monitoring and evaluation. Committed to continuous improvement, Ayman has actively volunteered to refine his leadership, training, and teamwork proficiencies. Notably, he holds certifications as a trainer from the CALP Network and as a leadership speaker, trainer, and coach from the John Maxwell Team.
